Mobile Monetization Summit 2012


We're glad to invite you to the Mobile Monetization Summit 2012 which will be held on Dec.18 at YesPlanet in Ramat Gan.

This summit is a special edition of the Israel Mobile Summit focusing on how developers can make money from their apps. It was created due to the booming numbers of innovative mobile apps startups in Israel that are eager for monetization solutions.

The summit will feature the best speakers from Israel and abroad including experts from Nokia, StartApp and PayPal. Among the panels and topics discussed are the mobile advertising ecosystem, strategies to increase app revenues and ad click rates as well as the m-commerce and m-payments aspects in apps.

In addition, the summit will feature a startup contest that for the first time will focus on mobile app enablers, i.e. tools for app monetization, development, discovery, social and search integration etc. 8 startups will get to present in front of the audience and an expert jury. The contest is still open and free to apply here.

Israel Mobile Summit 2012 Recap

We had some exciting events last month around Israel Mobile Summit 2012, and just now we have some time to recap all the mobile goodness we had...

First, huge congrats go to Zap Guitar, winner of the Israel Mobile Summit startup contest! They definitely have the cool factor and we're sure we'll hear of them a lot. Thanks also to all other finalists - you guys rock!

The summit this year has become the prime event for the mobile apps ecosystem in Israel with over 600 attendees from all over the industry. We also had guests and speakers from the US, UK, France, Finland, Romania, Japan, India and more. We also got prime-time coverage in the main news cast of the leading Israeli TV channel - see the Israel Mobile Summit coverage on channel 2 news here.

We had the pleasure of hosting Jari Tammisto, the President of MobileMonday who came all the way from Finland, you can see his inspiring session here. In fact you can watch all of the summit sessions in the Israel Mobile Summit YouTube channel - you can catch there sessions from VSERV, BlackBerry, Nokia, Jajah, PayPal, uTest and panels with speakers from Amdocs, AT&T, Startapp and more.

Israel Mobility Week

With so much happening these days, we almost forgot to post here about the great events that are coming in the next few days, so here goes:

Today we'll have a special event celebrating our MobileMonday Tel Aviv's 4tth anniversary, but we'll have some regular content as well, this time we'll focus on the hot topic of Mobile Crowdsourcing.
